A rare original mid-century lithograph by Yaacov Agam 'Message of Peace 1988 Olympics'
Yaacov Agam, along with a number of other prominent artists of the day, was commissioned to design a series of posters for the 1988 Summer Olympic Games held in Seoul, South Korea.
Yaacov Agam (b.1928) is an Israeli sculptor and experimental artist best known for his contributions to optical and kinetic art. The lithograph features one of Agam’s famous ’Agamographs’.
These were optically kinetic pieces made from layering painted acrylic that changed as you viewed the piece from different angles.
The piece is signed in pencil and is numbered 28/300
